• Completion of The Tabular Hills walk

    When cumulus clouds sit low in the sky and the weight of humidity rests heavy on the shoulders - a day on the high tops of The Lakes or The Highlands of Scotland is desired. Here the wind would cool and lift and humidity wouldn't drain energy in such an oppressive manner. However, The Tabular Hills walk needed completion and the warm bowl that shelters Hutton-le-hole is left via field margins overgrown at the height of Summer with noxious nettles and thistles. Shorts were not a good idea!
